I am an experienced guide and history scholar who has led educational tours in Beijing for 21 years. After bringing visitors to the Forbidden City over 1,200 times, and taking guests on more than 1,500 hikes to the Great Wall, I know how to create a compelling travel experience to these sites even virtually.

SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Language Choice: I can deliver our Virtual Tours in English, Chinese, or a mix of the two languages according to your classroom requirements.

  • Student Oriented: After consulting with you on the level of your student’s language and cultural proficiency, I will create an introduction tailored to their understanding and language level.

  • Connected to Your Curriculum: With the provided information about your students’ language proficiency, I will try to connect with what the students have already learned in the classroom in the tours.

  • Dynamic Approach: I will ground comparisons and frame of references for your students’ context (for instance the size of the Forbidden City vs. Central Park or Huntington Garden) depending on their location.

  • Local Expert on the Ground: My team of expert guides in Beijing can even create a tailored live experience from the sites themselves per special request.

We help you create creative, fun, and lasting unique cultural classroom experiences to engage further with Chinese language, history, and culture.
